Kashmir: Soldiers injured during gunfight with terrorists in Doda

Srinagar/IBNS: Some security personnel were injured in a brief gunfight with terrorists in the forest area f Doda district in Jammua and Kashmir.

The Army said the exchange of fire between the two sides took place around 9 pm in the Desa forest area.

Additional troops have been moved into the area and operations are continuing.

The operation was launched on reliable input about the presence of terrorists, sources said, adding reinforcements were rushed to the area to strengthen the cordon.
