Kashmir: CRPF jawan injured in militant attack in Shopian

Srinagar/UNI: A jawan of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was injured in a militant attack in south Kashmir district of Shopian on Tuesday.

Official sources said that militants resorted to indiscriminate firing towards a Road Opening Party (ROP) of CRPF at Kralcheck Zainapora in Shopian.

A CRPF jawan identified as Ajay Kumar was injured in the attack, they said adding the injured was rushed to local hospital.

Additional security forces were immediately rushed to the area and launched a massive search operation to nab the militants.
