Kashmir: 3 Al Badr militants arrested

Srinagar/UNI: Three suspected militants were arrested in Kashmir, security officials said on Saturday.

They said the three are affiliated with the Al Badr militant group and were arrested during a cordon and a search operation (CASO) in Sopore sub district of north Kashmir.

"Troops of 92 Bn CRPF, JKP and 32 RR conducted the CASO at Rawoocha Dangiwacha and apprehended the 3 militants," a statement by the CRPF said.

"An AK-47 Rifle along with a magazine, 30 live ammunition, two pistols with two magazines and 37 live ammunition and Rs 2 lakh cash was recovered from the trio," he added.
