JMM's West Singhbhum district president arrested after he shares objectionable post on Goddess Durga

Chaibasa/Ranchi, Jun 28 (UNI) The West Singhbhum district unit chief of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has been arrested by Chakrdharpur police after he forwarded an objectionable post on Goddess Durga on social media following which he was also suspended by his party.

JMM's general secretary Binod Pandey today said that central president of the JMM has taken a serious note of the incident and apart from suspending him has formed a two member committee comprising party MLA from Behragora Kunal Sadangi and former MLA Amit Kumar to probe into the incident who have been asked to submit their report within a week after which further action will be contemplated by the party.

West Singhbhum district chief of JMM Bhuneshwar Mahto later has to also face the anger of the people as yesterday late night they gheraoed the Chakardharpur Police Station and also indulged in slogan shouting against him. As the situation turned hostile the police later arrested Mahto.
