J&K: Two terrorists killed in Kulgam encounter
Srinagar, Jan 13 (IBNS): Two terrorists including an IED expert have been killed in an encounter with security forces at Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir, media reports said.
The IED expert has been identified as Zeenat-ul-Islam. He was associated with the terror group Al Badr.
After receiving information about the presence of terrorists, security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Katpora area in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Saturday evening.
While the security forces were conducting the search operation, the terrorists attacked by firing upon them.
The forces also retaliated the attack and two terrorists were killed during the same.
Several arms and ammunition have been recovered from the site.
