Jharkhand: Man arrested for murdering daughter's ex-lover in Palamu

Daltonganj/UNI:  Police has arrested a person who had killed the ex-lover of his daughter at Panki Police Station area of the Palamu district.

The arrested man has been identified as Mangar Yadav.

Acting on the input provided by the him, police also recovered the body of deceased Virendra Bhuiyaan (23).

Police said that the man had killed Bhuiyaan to avenge the death of his daughter.

Bhuiyaan had gone missing from a wedding function where he had a dispute with Mangar Yadav on Friday.

As Virendra did not come back, his family members lodged a named complaint at the police station following which Mangar was taken into custody for questioning during which he confessed his crime.
