Srinagar/UNI:  A cafeteria of Tourism Department was gutted in a massive fire in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here on Tuesday.

They said fire broke out mysteriously in a cafeteria, which was closed for business a long time ago, at Srigufwara in Anantnag during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

Fire tenders were rushed to douse off the leaping flames, clearly visible from a distance.

However, they said before the fire was brought under control, the structure was damaged. “The cause of the fire was not immediately known,” they said, adding police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident.

They said no one was injured in the incident.
