Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists hurl grenade on bus stand in Soropore, fire on civilians in Anantnag

Srinagar/IBNS: At least six people were hurt as terrorists hurled grenade on a civilian bus stand in Sopore area of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, police said.

" #Terrorists lobbed a #grenade on #civilians at #BusStand #Sopore. 6 #civilians sustained #injuries. Information is preliminary in nature.
@JmuKmrPolice," Kashmir Police Zone tweeted.

Terrorists also fired on civilians in Bijbehara area of Anantnag city.

According to media reports, terrorists fired on a truck driver in the region.

The driver is reportedly killed in the incident.

The incidents took place ahead of a European Union team visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

The team met Indian PM Narendra Modi on Monday.
