Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar city is slowly witnessing a transformation in its nightlife scenario which was once marred by curfew and fear of terror attacks.

Replacing the old chapter, the new peaceful Srinagar is witnessing people enjoying and exploring the beautiful city at night hours.

Tourists can now cherish vibrant Srinagar city with restaurants, bars, and pubs remaining open till late at night and even street vendors selling snacks, tea, coffee, and other food items to add the mood of festivity.

Maqbool Bhat, a shopkeeper hailing from the old city, reflected on the dramatic shift in atmosphere.

"Not long ago, the fear and threat that used to prevail with the sunset have disappeared. Terrorists carrying guns and grenades and mobs carrying stones seem to be a thing of the past," he told ANI.

Fiza Mir, a college student, expressed her excitement, saying, “It's incredible to see the city come alive at night.

Author  Arif Ahmed told ANI: "The resurgence of Srinagar's nightlife is a metaphorical inkling of a new chapter in the history of Kashmir. It's a testament to the resilience of its people and their determination to shape a peaceful future."
