Jammu and Kashmir: Policeman critically wounded in Srinagar attack
Srinagar: Suspected militants shot and critically wounded a policeman here on Saturday morning, officials said.
The shooting took place at Aiwa Bridge Ali Jan road in Srinagar.
“The policeman has been shifted to a hospital and his condition is stated to be critical,” an official said, adding that he was identified as Ghulam Hassan, resident of Srinagar. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search for the attackers, said the official.
