Jammu and Kashmir: DDC chairpersons to get Rs 35000 monthly honorarium

 Srinagar: J&K Rural Development and Panchayati Raj department today accorded sanction to the payment of monthly honorarium to the chairpersons, vice-chairpersons and members of District Development Councils (DDCs) in Jammu and Kashmir.

DDC chairpersons will get monthly honorarium of Rs 35000, the vice-chairpersons will get Rs 25,000 and DDC members Rs 15000.

This monthly honorarium will include Rs 500 as telephone charges and Travel Allowance of Rs 1500.
