Jammu and Kashmir: DC Poonch flags-off 100 students for trekking expedition to 4 destinations

 Srinagar: District Development Commissioner, Rahul Yadav on Friday flagged off a group of 100 students for a trekking expedition to four Villages Bainch, Magnar, Khanetar and Kanuyian of the district.

The three-day long trekking expedition has been organised by the Youth Services and sports department.

Then, the DDC interacted with the enthusiastic trekkers and advised them to enjoy the expedition in different areas of the district Poonch.

He advised the students to avoid littering during the expedition and keep the environment neat and clean by not throwing polythene and other things which pollute nature.

The DDC also distributed Sanitizer and Masks among the students and asked them to follow all the SOPs guidelines to avoid the risk of COVID19 infection.

Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Angral, District Youth service and Sports officer Mohd Qasim, PEM, Vijay Kumar, ZPEO and other concerned officials/ officers were present on the occasion.
