Italian tourist who had recovered from COVID19 dies of heart attack in Rajasthan

Jaipur/IBNS: An Italian man who had recovered from coronavirus infection earlier died of a heart attack here on Thursday night, media reports said.

On February 29, Andrey Carly(69) was rushed to Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur where he was kept at the isolation ward. He tested positive for coronavirus infection on March 2.

After receiving treatment for 12 days, he tested negative for the deadly virus.

However, the Italian national had some heart and lung ailments and was shifted to Fortis Hospital on his wife's request, said the reports.

Doctors at SMS Hospital have said he was fit and hade recovered from coronavirus infection.

Andrey had arrived in Jaipur with a group of 23 Italian tourists, including his wife. Out of them, 16 had tested positive for COVID-19.

His wife had also tested positive for the deadly virus but had been cured after treatment.
