Mumbai, Oct 7 (IBNS) Indrani Mukerjea, former media executive and wife of former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, was brought back to jail on Tuesday from hospital, reports said.

Mukherjee  was  released from the state-run JJ Hospital following an improved physical condition after she lost consciousness on Friday.

Mukerjea, the prime accused in the murder of  her daughter Sheena Bora, will remain in jail till Oct 19 as her judicial custody has been extended by the court.

She had informed a local court through her lawyer  that she stands open to all forms of interrogation from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in jail, according to an NDTV report.

The hospital authorities have already submitted Mukerjea's report to the court. Her lawyer is awaiting permission to meet her, due on Wednesday.
