Indian nurses have been moved to another location: MEA
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said all the nurses are 'safe and unharmed'.
"46 nurses are safe but they have been moved to another location for safety," Akbaruddin said while addressing the press conference here.
He said the Indian officials keeping in touch with the nurses.
"The nurses are on the move right now and our officials have been in touch with them," he said.
When asked about the issue of their captivity, he said: "In zones of conflict there is no free will."
Akbaruddin said 39 nationals who are in captivity in Iraq are 'unharmed but still in captivity'.
He said 900 Indians have already been provided tickets to fly out of Iraq.
"We are intensifying efforts to bring back Indians from Iraq," Akbaruddin said.
