Meanwhile, parents from Madhya Pradesh whose children are studying in Kyrgyzstan, where locals have been engaged in a conflict with foreigners in recent times, asked the Indian government to ensure the safe return of their children, media reports said.

According to reports, 15,000 Indian students are currently studying in the country.
