Indian Ambassador Adarsh Swaika meets Kuwait National Assembly Speaker Ahmed Al-Sadoun, discusses prospects of bilateral relations

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Adarsh Swaika on Sunday met Ahmed Al-Sadoun, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait, and appraised him of the state and prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries.

"An honour to call on the Speaker of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait H.E Ahmed Al-Sadoun. Apprised him of the state and prospects of bilateral relations between, including parliamentary cooperation. @MajlesAlOmmah," the Indian envoy wrote on X.

He also met Jassim Mustafa Boodai, Gulf Bank’s Chairman, and discussed possibilities of collaboration with Indian companies. 

He wrote: "Pleasure to meet Jassim Mustafa Boodai, Chairman of #Gulf Bank and CEO of #Integratedlogistics Co. of Kuwait. Discussed possibilities of collaboration with #Indian companies. Happy to learn about the value addition by Indian workers in the integrated logistics Co."

The year 2020-21 marked 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between two countries.   

Both nations have maintained high-level contacts.
