Hyderabad: Two girl students commit suicide

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (UNI) In separate incidents, two girl students aged 13 and 17 committed suicide, when their parents warned them against using cell phones.

In the first incident, Sahitha (13) committed suicide by jumping off the sixth floor of the building of Aditya Enclave, Ameerpet on Saturday night.


The seventh class student of a private school, took this extreme step when her mother asked her not to play games in the mobile phone of her grandfather.


In the second incident, Sneha (17) committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence at Sanathnagar on Saturday evening.


She was a first year student and took the extreme step, as she was depressed, after serious warnings from her mother, for overusing mobile.


Police have registered cases and investigation is underway.
