Hyderabad RJ commits suicide over alleged harassment by husband, an army major

Hyderabad, Apr 25 (IBNS): A Hyderabad-based Radio Jockey, married to an army officer, has committed suicide over alleged harassment of dowry, media reports said.

Sandhya Singh was found dead last week.

Her body was recovered from the accommodation provided by the army to her husband, Major Vaibhav Vishal.

A suicide case was initially lodged after which the victim's family alleged that she was harassed by her husband for dowry.

Major Vishal, who reportedly discovered his wife hanging from a ceiling fan, got admitted to hospital complaining of being unwell.
