Huge quantity of explosives recovered at Guwahati and Jagiroad railway stations

Guwahati, Feb 4 (IBNS)  : The Government Railway Police (GRP)  recovered huge quantity of explosives from the Guwahati railway station on Monday.

According to  reports, the train checking party of GRP  recovered three abandoned bags from platform no 2, 3 at Guwahati railway station at around 5-45 am when the Up Avadh Assam Express train was at the platform.

While checking the bags, the GRP personnel found 440 pieces of  gelatine sticks in 22 packets, 700 pieces detonators in 7 packets and three bundles fuse wire.

In another recovery, they found another bag near the toilet of AC-2 tier coach of Up Avadh Assam Express train at Jagiroad railway station and found 60 pieces of gelatine sticks in 8 packets and  500 pieces of  detonators.
