New Delhi/IBNS: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district on Friday to take stock of the security situation after twin terror attacks in the Union Territory killed seven people, media reports said.

Shah will visit the spot where the terror attacks occurred and meet the family members of the deceased civilians.

He is also scheduled to meet top officials from Jammu and Kashmir administration during the visit.

Amit Shah will arrive in Jammu at 11.15 am and fly to Rajouri in a chopper at 11.30 am and reach there at 12 noon.

There, he will visit Dhangri to inspect the spot of terror attacks and interact with the families of victims.

On January 2, militants attacked three houses of a minority community in the Dangri area of the Rajouri district.

Five civilians were killed and six were injured.

On the very following day, two children were killed and six people injured in an IED explosion close to the house of one of the victims in Dangri village.
