Toronto: Members of the Hindu Forum Canada hosted a 'LED Truck advertisement' campaign in several cities of Greater Toronto areas against the Mumbai terror attack of Nov 2008.

To mark the 12th anniversary of 26/11, a truck with billboards on three sides started its campaign on Thursday from Canada's most populous Province Ontario's Legislative Assembly, reports ANI news agency.

The billboards read, '#MumbaiNov26 #Pakistani Terror #CanadiansAwaitJustice', reports the news agency.

Hindu Forum Canada also tweeted: "Hindu Forum Canada @canada_hindu outside Ontario Legislative Assembly to remind MPPs about #MumbaiNov26 #PakistaniTerror-2 Canadians killed and many injured #CanadiansAwaitJustice ⁦ @CBCToronto @City_tv ⁦@TorontoStar @nationalpost @CTVToronto."

After staying in front of the Toronto City Hall, the truck stood outside the   Pakistan Consulate office in the City of Vaughan during the demonstration.

Finally, the truck headed towards the cities of Brampton and Mississauga offices and stayed outside for over an hour at each place. The truck travelled over 60 kilometers along busy streets of the Greater Toronto areas, reports ANI.

Nov 26, 2020 marked the 12th anniversary of the terror attack which left 166 people killed.

Ajmal Kasab, the only attacker who was captured alive, later confessed upon interrogation that the attacks were conducted with the support of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Kasab was hanged on Nov 21, 2012 at Yerwada Jail in Pune.

Eight of the attacks occurred in South Mumbai - at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital (a women and children's hospital), the Nariman House Jewish community centre, the Metro Cinema, and a lane behind the Times of India building and St. Xavier's College.

There was also an explosion at Mazagaon, in Mumbai's port area, and in a taxi at Vile Parle.
