Dharamshala: Some anti-national elements and miscreants had put up five to six Khalistani flags on the outer gate of the state Legislative Assembly at Tapovan in the outskirts of Dharamshala hill town in the wee hours of this morning and had written Khalistan Zindabad slogans on the wall.

SSP Kangra Kaushal Sharma confirmed the incident and said the flags have been removed and the writings have been white painted by the authorities.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation.

He said the culprits will be brought to the book soon.

Meanwhile, the AAP has declared the state government as a failure as it could not protect the state and government and the Himachal police stood exposed today.

He said that CCTV footage was being collected to identify the culprits.

The flags were hoisted on the wall of the Legislative Assembly in the wee hours this morning, added the SSP.
