Himachal: 823 passengers travelled to affected countries, samples of five awaited

Shimla/UNI: Himachal Pradesh Government confirmed on Friday that state has recorded arrival of as many as 823 passengers who travelled to 150 affected countries by the COVID-19, out of which samples of 14 people were collected, result of nine found negative and five awaited.

As per a media bulletin on the COVID-19, 431 asymptomatic travellers are under home quarantine and five in isolation in a hospital.

The bulletin said that nine suspected COVID-19 cases investigated and all found negative while five samples are being tested and result awaited.

It said that 283 asymptomatic travellers completed 28 day observations while nine others who fund symptomatic and 100 other left the state.

It advised the general public to adhere health advisories issued by the Government from time to time.

Those who have a history of foreign travel any time during the last 14 days should inform at 104 helpline number and remain under strict home isolation for 28 days from the date of the arrival in India.
