Hemant Soren directs officials to maintain law and order in state

Ranchi/UNI: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the Chief Secretary to maintain law and order in the state and act against the wrongdoers without discrimination.

Hemant said that strict action will be taken against those who would try to destroy the social fabric of the state and disrupt peace in the state.

Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, a high level meeting of the officials comprising the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Home and DGP was held.

Post the meeting, the DCs and SPs of all the districts were directed to ensure that law and order is properly maintained in the state.

The Chief Minister also urged the people to live with harmony and brotherhood as Jharkhand is moving on a new path of progress.

He said that the new Jharkhand shorld have an environment in which all the religions and sects can coexist with love and brotherhood.
