Hazare refuses to talk to Bedi?

New Delhi, Jan 18 (IBNS): Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare has refused to talk to former top cop-turned-politician Kiran Bedi after she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, media reports said.

"Gandhian Anna Hazare has refused to talk to Kiran Bedi - formerly his close aide -  after she joined the BJP," NDTV reported quoting sources close to the activist.

"He had felt hurt by Ms Bedi's decision to plunge into active politics without consulting him," the news channel reported quoting sources.
Bedi recently joined the BJP.

Bedi, who was earlier associated with Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement, is likely to be pitted against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi constituency in the Assembly elections.

The retired IPS (Indian Police Service) officer explained her decision to enter politics as the “revival of hope” generated by the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bedi also told NDTV: “Life evolves...changes. I admire him (Pm Modi) as an administrator.”

Asked whether her name will be declared as its presumptive chief minister against Kejriwal, she said that it was for the party (BJP) to decide.
