Hajipur: Two children drowned in pond
Hajipur, Jul 7 (UNI) Two children drowned in a pond at Purainia village under Bhagwanpur police station area in Vaishali district today.
Police said here that the mishap took place when one child went deep inside the pond to save another child from drowning.
Sources said that children met their watery grave in the pond when they were taking bath in it.
Police said that local people fished out children from the pond and rushed them to a local hospital where they were declared brought dead.
