Had a great discussion with S Jaishankar on sidelines of G7: Antony Blinken

Hiroshima: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on the sidelines of the G7 meeting and said he had a great discussion with the Indian leader.

"I had a great discussion with Indian Minister of External Affairs @DrSJaishankar on the sidelines of the G7 in Hiroshima. We look forward to hosting Indian Prime Minister @NarendraModi in June, whose visit will celebrate the deep partnership between the United States and India," Antony Blinken tweeted.

Jaishankar said: "Thanks @SecBlinken . Was great to catch up!"

He said he is looking forward to PM Narendra Modi's visit to the USA.

"Looking forward to PM @narendramodi’s visit," he said.

Indian PM Narendra Modi also visited Hiroshima to attend the G7 Summit.

He met several world leaders during the meeting.
