Gujarat flood: Union Home Minister assures full support to CM

New Delhi, July 29 (IBNS) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel to assess the flood situation in the state, officials said on Wednesday.

Seven NDRF teams are already deployed in the rescue operation and four more teams from Pune have been rushed.

Two Helicopters from Indian Air Force and one from Border Security Force are being deployed.

"The Union Home Minister assured full central assistance to the Chief Minister of Gujarat," read a government statement.

"The Centre is monitoring the flood situation in Gujarat and other flood affected areas in the country," it said.
