Grenade lobbed at Kashmir railway track, 2 injured

Srinagar, Sept 7 (IBNS): Two Railway police personnel were injured as militants lobbed a grenade towards railway track close to Malangpora area of Awantipora town in south Kashmir on Monday.

"Militants hurled a grenade at a railway protection police post in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday," an official said.

"No casualty has been reported in the explosion," a police officer said here.

Soon after the incident, the Army, the CRPF and the police rushed to spot.

No arrests were made so far.

No outfit claim responsibility for this attack so far.
