New York: Indian PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday said he had a 'great' meeting with Tesla chief Elon Musk.

Modi said his discussion with Musk ranged from spirituality to energy.

Modi tweeted: "Great meeting you today @elonmusk! We had multifaceted conversations on issues ranging from energy to spirituality."

Following the meeting, Musk said India has more promise than any large country in the world.

This was Modi's first meeting with Musk since he became the owner of Twitter.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "PM Modi really cares about India because he is pushing us to make significant investment in India, which is something that we tend to do. We just have to figure out the right timing."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in New York on Tuesday for a rare three-day state visit to the US, during which he is set to address the joint session of the US Congress and dine with President Biden.
