Four-storey building collapse in west Delhi kills 5
New Delhi, July 19 (IBNS): At least five people have died and many injured after a four-storey building collapsed in west Delhi's Vishnu Garden area on Saturday, reports said.
Many are still feared trapped under the debris even as the rescue operation continues. A minor girl is also feared to be trapped under the rubble.
The building reportedly collapsed around 8.40 PM.
Eight fire engines were rushed to the spot where local police and teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are conducting the rescue operations.
According to initial reports, the building caved in from digging at an adjacent plot where a new building was being constructed.
The injured people have been taken to Guru Gobind Singh Hospital.
