Four policemen, two bank officials killed in Kashmir militant attack

Srinagar, May 1 (IBNS): In a major militant attack five policemen and two bank officials were killed after bank vehicle was targeted by militants in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said on Monday.

 According to reports, group of armed militants opened fire on a cash van of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Pombai village of Kulgam resulting death of five cops and two bank officials.

Reports also suggest militants loot cash of amount 30 lacs and five service rifles of the slain cops.

Sources said that the van was heading towards Kulgam after unloading cash at Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Nehama village.
