Former terrorist and 3-year-old son shot dead in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 19 (IBNS) A former terrorist from Jammu and Kashmir and his three-year-old son have been shot dead by suspected in Sopore area of Baramullah district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports said the boy was in his father's lap when suspected terrorists stormed their house on Friday night and opened fire.

Thirtysix-year-old Bashir Ahmad Bhat died while being taken to hospital. The boy died on Saturday.

Bhat was once associated with some terror outfits.  He now ran a small business in Sopore.

Investigations are on to ascertain the reason behind the attack.
