Former Calcutta HC Justice abused in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jul 3 (IBNS): One ex-Justice of Calcutta High Court was allegedly abused by two men in front of his house at New Town area in Kolkata on Sunday morning, reports said.

According to reports, former Justice of Calcutta HC Asim Kumar Roy spotted few trucks, parked illegally in front of his residence at Akankha More area under New Town Police Station limits, and he asked truck drivers to move from the area.

Thereafter two youths appeared at the spot and allegedly abused former Justice. They also threatened his security personnel.

However, after receiving complaint from ex-Justice Asim Kumar Roy, Bidhannagar City Police arrested one accused- Ansar Mollah- and seized his motorcycle. Search operation is still on to catch another, officials said.
