Forest officials capture leopard that attacked couple in Guwahati
Guwahati, Mar 9 (IBNS): Forest department officials have captured a leopard that had attacked and injured a couple at Maligaon in the city on Saturday.
Reports said the big cat entered the house of Dipak Hujuri and attacked him and his wife.
The neighbours rescued the couple and locked the leopard inside the house. The injured were rushed to a hospital.
After being informed, the forest officials tranquillised the leopard and captured it.
