Forces will retaliate to Maoists: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, June 27 (IBNS) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said that the security personnel will retaliate to any attack by the Maoists and take a balanced approach on the menace.

Reviewing the status of anti-Maoist actions in various states, Singh said the government will not talk to the rebels and provide incentives to those fighting them, according to media reports quoting him.

Chief Secretaries and DGPs of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana met him to brief on the status.
