Five soldiers killed, several injured as Army truck falls into Poonch gorge

Srinagar: Five soldiers lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries after an Army truck plunged into a 300-foot gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector on Tuesday, officials reported.


Rescue operations are currently underway, with quick action teams from the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police actively involved at the accident site.

Efforts are focused on providing timely assistance and rescuing the injured personnel.

According to the White Knight Corps, the injured soldiers are receiving medical care.
