Ex-IAS officer Aparajita Sarangi joins BJP

New Delhi, Nov 27 (IBNS): Ex-IAS officer Aparajita Sarangi has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in New Delhi on Tuesday.

She joined the ruling party in the presence of BJP chief Amit Shah.

Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present when she joined the ruling party.

"Smt. @AprajitaSarangi,Ex IAS from #Odisha cadre joined @BJP4India today in the presence of National President Shri @AmitShah.
I welcome her to the BJP family. Her experience in administration esp. in improving school & mass education in Odisha will greatly strengthen @BJP4Odisha," Pradhan tweeted.

Sarangi joined the party ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

It is scheduled to be held next year.
