Environmental issues don’t get the importance they deserve: Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi, June 5 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said issues related the environment does not receive as much importance as it deserves.
Gandhi raised the fact that they are not observed as 'political issues'.
" Massive degradation of our environment has directly impacted & destroyed the lives of millions of Indians. Yet environmental issues don’t get the importance they deserve, because they aren’t seen as political issues. This #WorldEnvironmentDay let us resolve to change that," Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
