Mumbai/UNI: Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut's wife, Varsha Raut, for an ongoing investigation in the Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC) Bank scam case.

Varsha Raut has been directed to appear before the central agency on December 29 pertaining to a Rs 50 lakh transaction she had made with the wife of another accused, Pravin Raut, in the case, which is under scanner, officials said on Sunday.

The transaction is said to be a loan borrowed by Varsha Raut for purchase of a property.
