Agra, May 21 (IBNS) An eight-year-old girl from Agra wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking financial help for her treatment for a congenital heart problem telling him that her family is financially insolvent to to get her treatment done.

Taiyyaba's father is a cobbler and is the sole earner of the family.

Reports said the  Prime Minister's Office immediately responded to the letter and arranged for her treatment at New Delhi's GB Pant Hospital. All the expenses for the treatment will be borne by the government.

"I have a hole in my heart. My father didn't have money for my operation. I saw on television that PM works for everyone. I deserve to live," Taiyyaba has been quoted as saying.

The girl's father said, "I sent the letter to Delhi and got a reply in a few days. I am very thankful to pm Modi for helping us."
