Hyderabad/UNI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches on Saturday at the residence of Akhila, a close relative of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Kavitha, as part of their investigation into the Delhi Liquor scam.

According to sources, ED officials carried out searches at the residence of Kavitha's sister-in-law, Akhila (sister of Kavitha's husband Anil Kumar ), located in Madhapur earlier today.

The officials reportedly scrutinized bank transactions associated with Kavitha and her husband.

It's noteworthy that Kavitha, who was apprehended by the ED on March 15 in connection with the Delhi liquor scam, remains in custody as investigations continue.

While the authorities are interrogating Kavitha, they are also conducting searches at the residences of her relatives.
