Demand for CBI inquiry into mysterious suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput raised in Bihar Assembly

Patna/UNI Amid chorus for CBI inquiry into suicide by Hindi film actor Sushant Singh Rajput under mysterious circumstances, the issue was also raised in Bihar Assembly as several members demanded for investigation of the case by premier agency, in the House in its single day Monsoon Session which began today.

BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu was the first member to raise the issue in the House as he described the mysterious death of Sushant as a matter of grave concern. He said, people of not only Bihar but also of the Country were deeply hurt over the mysterious death of Sushant in Mumbai on June 14.

Mr Bablu demanded for CBI inquiry into death of Sushant saying the case should be handed over to CBI without any further delay. He said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was present in the house and he should handover the case to CBI taking into consideration of the sentiments of the people and lackadaisical approach of Mumbai police in investigation of the case.

Several members including leader of the opposition Tejasvi Prasad Yadav and leader of Congress Legislative Party in the House Sadanand Singh also supported the demand for CBI probe into mysterious suicide of the Sushant. Mr Singh said that the case should be handed over to CBI to ascertain wheather it was suicide or murder.

Leader of the opposition Tejasvi Prasad Yadav said that he had met K K Singh, father of Sushant at his residence and his party RJD was the first to raise the demand for CBI probe into mysterious suicide of Sushant. He requested Chief Minister Mr Kumar to order CBI probe into case without any further delay. He also demanded to name the film City after Sushant in Rajgir.
