Delhi witnesses hot day, max at 35.5 degree Celcius

New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) Delhiites witnessed a hot day on Monday, with the maximum temperature settling at 35.5 degree Celsius, two notches above normal.

The relative humidity till 1730 hrs was pegged at 62 per cent, a weatherman said.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.7 deg C, normal for the season.

There will be generally cloudy sky with light rain on Tuesday, with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 36 and 25 degrees, he added.
