New Delhi/IBNS: Amid a spike in coronavirus cases, the Delhi government on Tuesday declared that there will be no Holi celebrations and ordered random testing across airports, railway and bus stations in the national capital.

Putting a bar on public gathering, the Arvind Kejriwal government announced that there will be no celebration of the upcoming Holi, Shab-e-Barat and Navratra festivals.

The Delhi government said random testing will also be held at gatherings of private buses.

The district magistrates and senior police officers of all districts have been directed to strictly follow the instructions.

Delhi is witnessing a huge spike in cases amid the emergent second wave of the virus.
