Currency ban: Congress leaders to gherao RBI offices

Mumbai, Jan 17 (IBNS): The Congress on Tuesday announced will gherao RBI offices across India on Jan 18 to protest against the Centre's demonetisation move.

Congress leader Randeep S Surjewala tweeted: "INC will Gherao RBI offices across India on Jan 18. Stop treachery with people of India and lift all restrictions on withdrawal of money."

The Centre on Nov 8 banned old Rs 1000 and Rs. 500 currency notes.
