Crime in Puducherry: Youth pours hot oil on girl student

Puducherry/UNI:  In a one-sided love affair, a youth allegedly poured hot oil on a 9th standard girl student here on Monday night.

According to police, the youth was in a one sided love with the girl and he used to follow her wherever she went.

Her parents scolded him for this. Irate over this, the youth poured hot oil on the girl through a window last night when she was asleep.

Her parents took her to a private hospital where she is being treated for burns.

On a complaint from the mother of the girl, Kirumambakkam police registered a case and arrested the youth Madesh.

It may be noted that a 35-year-old woman poured hot milk on the private parts of her husband last week here for suspecting her fidelity.
