COP26: PM Modi participates in US President's Build Back Better for the World initiative

Glasgow/New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday participated in the Build Back Better for the World (B3W), a side event at the COP26 initiated by US President Joe Biden, in Glasgow.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi, in a tweet said that the PM also outlined four important aspects in infrastructure creation:

“Let’s build back better-together!

“PM @narendramodi participated in Build Back Better for the World (B3W) event initiated by @POTUS @JoeBiden & @vonderleyen at #COP26.”

“PM underlined the need to ensure 4 aspects in infrastructure creation:

1️⃣Climate resilience

2️⃣Incorporating traditional knowledge

3️⃣Prioritising poor & vulnerable

4️⃣Sustainable & transparent finance that respects the sovereignty & territorial integrity of all countries.”
