Congress instigating farmers for agitation: BJP

| @indiablooms | Dec 03, 2020, at 01:52 am

Patna/UNI: Blaming Congress for instigating farmers for the ongoing agitation against agricultural reforms, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday alleged that those who never worked for the benefit of farmers were now misleading them.

Senior BJP leader and Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey told newspersons here on Wednesday that the actual face of Congress has been exposed before the public.

He alleged that Congress always used the farmers as their vote bank.

Pandey said that the condition of farmers was known to everyone during the regime of Congress which never came forward with any policy benefiting this class.

He said that Congress is now frustrated with the agricultural reforms taken up by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The BJP leader said that the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal also termed the agricultural reforms in the interest of the farmers but the Congress was only misleading the farmers for their personal political mileage.

Pandey alleged that national interest and public interest was never in the concept of Congress which is now out of power across the country only because of its such attitude.

Health Minister further said that the state government and the centre were working in tandem to control covid-19 and maintained that the test for coronavirus would now be conducted only at Rs 800.
